Experience
I currently tutor a high school freshman taking Algebra I and a high school senior taking Algebra II. I have previously tutored a high school senior in preparation for the math portion on her SAT. Her score improved by 90 points after tutoring her for a month. I spent the last summer living with a family as their Au Pair in Barcelona, Spain for two months. I studied primarily English, as well as Math and Science with their eleven year old daughter. I also spent the last three summers as a residential camp counselor and lifeguard for a YMCA camp. I aspire to be a high school math teacher. I have spent the last three years taking upper-division math courses as well as education courses on how to be a great teacher. I am now in my final year of studies at Azusa Pacific University and I am very excited to begin my teaching credential/master's program next year.
