Associates Degree in violin performance from Cabrillo Community College in Aptos CA. Earning by bachelor's degree this year in music education at Azusa Pacific University. Will continue on to get my Masters in Special Education with emphasis in music, but want to learn how to teach kids with special needs. Continue at APU
Experience
I have helped teach kids in a classroom setting with general music, theory, and playing instruments. I want to be a tutor because I am a good student, and love to explain and simplify the things I've learned to help teach students how to really retain and know things within subjects they are taking. I love seeing progress within kids' work and studies. I am always helpful and will always put in an effort to help the student understand. I will always want to look for different ways to explain something if the student doesn't understand at first.

Weekends after 12 Noon, Friday after 4PM, Mon/Wed/Fri after 11AM, Tues/Thurs after 7PM

Hobbies
I love to play violin, piano, guitar, and sing. I love to go to the beach, spend time with my friends, family, and dog. I love anything that is outside in the sun whether its hiking, surfing, swimming, but I do love to relax and do fun things inside as well. I love to dance, I was a ballerina for 18 years, and I want to continue to dance for the rest of my life. I hope to become a great music teacher and help provide a well-rounded education for all children, especially low-income students and special needs students who don't have as many resources to get a good education.
